Ever see a movie that is incredible but at the same time...
You ask yourself - what did I do to myself watching this????
I just saw a great movie, but so devastating and a sobfest.... I'm a wreck....

DH fell asleep one night pretty early on one of our couches so i went into our bedroom and watched PS I Love You...when he came into bed i was SOBBING!!!!!!!!!! I can cry at anytime just thinking about it. Ill have to check out Miracle at St. Anna.

Its a brutal, BRUTAL war movie (WW2)
AND - it has a scene in there that I wish I never saw  I have seen every gory horror movie ever, am not squeamish, but there was a horrendously disturbing image that will be with me for a long, long time... Its a great movie all in all, but still

This is why I'm afraid to see Revolutionary Road... the performances look amazing, but everyone I know who's seen it has said it tears you apart.

Murial's Wedding- saw it right after my dad passed away.
Great movies. can't sit through them again, but I'm glad I saw them.

i felt this way with The Kite Runner... there was a scene with the little boy where let's just say it was very hard to watch, and they didn't even show it all... you just KNEW what happened to him and it made you sick. people that read the book and/or saw the movie know what i am talking about.
