Ever since I went off BC...
AF has been heavy - I just got it yesterday. It even bothered me in my sleep --I know TMI, I'm sorry. I've been sooooo tired since Saturday, I thought I was PG and my neck, back hurts and joints too.
Last night I wanted a massage from DH and I guess before I asked for one, I was a little moody and my tone of voice wasn't nice--when I told him to take his shoes off from coming out of the rain. Anyway he didn't give me one So I went to bed and had a restless sleep. My neck, shoulders and joints still hurt. And this weather is not helping.
I used to have these symptoms before BC. Anyone else have these bad symptoms after coming off BC?

This is what I'm afraid of!!!
I used to have very heavy periods, that would last an entire 7 days. After going on the pill last year, they were light and only stuck around for 3 1/2 days, and wondered why I didn't go on BC sooner! I'm almost sad thinking that I might go back to this  I just hope I get preggers quickly!

Yes, I was spoiled by BC. I basically had no PMS - no cramps, no moodiness, no breakfasts, no aches, etc. and it was a very light for only a couple of days.
After I went off BC, I understood whatever every other woman alive complains about. But, I will say, it's gotten better with time. The first couple of months I was doubled over in pain, now it just reg. cramps.
Hope it gets better - or you get a BFP soon and it won't be an issue!

I had to go off the pill for a month in between doctors visits. I couldn't believe how STRONG it came... and it lasted longer than it ever had as well. I guess its your body adjusting. Good luck

I feel like I'm losing my sanity!
It's my first month off. I've noticed:
- My hair is clogging the shower every day;
- Mood swings beyond belief;
- Horrid cramps;
- Really heavy flow (DH asked me when it was going to end and I just said I don't know!);
- Breakouts for the first week off.
I feel like my body is taking revenge on me for taking the pill for so long (6 years w/out a break and on & off for 10 years overall)
I'm sorry that everyone's having a rough time with it, but I'm glad I'm not alone and I'm not going crazy!

I am living it right now. I havent had cramps or AF like this in 15 years. However, I am very lucky that my body regulated itself so quickly so I can TTC. This is my third period since going off the pill and I got them at 34. 29 and 29 days. Considering I was never regular before, I can suffer for a lil while.

I haven't had it that bad but I've definately had worse symptoms (heavier flow, painful cramps, tired for a few days.) I've also had ovulation pain between periods.

came off BC about 3 weeks ago, got my expected first period 4 days after.. it was normal.... but lately i've been feeling so gross, tired, VERY light headed constantly... I am scared of what's coming... I hope it's not gonna be bad :(
