Re: Ever use one of the Ebay stores?
I called one- they take about 40% of the money
so I set up my own ebay and paypal account and have a nice little side business going
it's so easy and fun!

do you have a friend with an account?
it's not really a hassle - it takes 15 minutes
and once you get started- you will be amazed at how much stuff you have to sell

can I ask why not? It doesn't take much to set up an ebay account and paypal account. Probably all happens in 1 day, plus paypal is probably one of the most safe ways of exchanging money online.
If you still feel awkward you could try craigslist but it hards to make you adds nationwide

I dont feel comfortable setting anything up with my bank account. I'm all ready set up with paypal on my credit card, but I dont want to link up my bank account with them.

you don't have to. You can link it so the money goes into your Credit Card Balance. You don't need a bank account.

Re: Ever use one of the Ebay stores?
there is a way, my sister does it. You can set up your paypal using your credit card. They give you instructions. If you have any doubts, paypal has a 800# to call. Usually I'm on hold for about 5 minutes.
How do I add a credit card to my account?
You can add a credit card from your account Profile:
Here's How: Log in to your PayPal account. Click the Profile subtab. Click the Credit Cards link in the Financial Information column. Click Add. Enter your credit card information. Click Save. Follow any additional directions on the page. Getting Started
How do I receive money?
When someone sends you money using PayPal, you receive an email. Depending on the funding source, in most cases, the funds are instantly credited to your PayPal account balance.
You can request money by clicking the Request Money tab and filling out the form. You can even request money from several people at the same time by separating the email addresses with a comma. Here's How: Log in to your PayPal account. Click the Request Money tab. Enter the required information. Click Continue. Review the information on the confirmation page and click Request Money to send an email asking for payment.

Re: Ever use one of the Ebay stores?
I would think so, but I would check it out. Basically, without a linked bank account you will have to transfer your paypal funds into your credit card. I think you are all set to sell. Its addictive though, but hey I make an average of $25-$50 a week. It pays for cigs & gas at least...
