Ewh!!! Guy at work!!!
Ok...so this girl at my job is getting married and we all decided to go in on a monetary gift and sign a card.
I asked everyone if they wanted to participate and everyone said yes. This guy, we will call him A said he would.
So Monday I sent an email out to the remaining people that had not given money to remind them, and if they didn't want to particpate, just let me know.
Well, A had the balls to sign the card and he's not giving money!!!! 
It's not about the money, I don't care about that. Just don't tell me you're going to chip in, and then don't, and then have me sit here waiting (because I had to go buy a gift check) for you to bring me money, and then sign the card like you gave money.
Vent over!!!
PS It doesn't help that I can't stand this guy to begin with.

I took up a collection at work this week for a guy getting married and the same thing happened except when he went to sign the card I took it away from him.

along the lines of "whiting out" his name... why don't you buy a new card, tell everyone that you spilled your coffee on it and this way everyone signs again and you can make sure he doesn't sign.

He wound up not giving money and we had to give her the gift. So I told her flat out that he didn't contribute. I didn't white it out because the card was blue.
He and I are going to have words next time I see him.
