Excellence Playa Mujeres
So we DH and I are going for vacation on monday there... tose of ya'll that have gone - do we ned to worry about food and water there??
DH is convinced we need to bring a suite case of just poland springs water...

Don't know about the Playa Mujeres resort, but we stayed at Excellence in Punta Cana and were told they filter all the water that is served there.

I've never been anywhere where you couldn't get bottled water and most good hotels filter it. You don't need to bring a suitcase of anything

We're going there in August!  We've been to the other two Excellence resorts, and at both there was plenty of bottled water everywhere. You can ask for it at any bar and they stock your mini fridge with it daily. They also purify the tap water, so you don't have to worry about showering and brushing your teeth.

DH and I went last May and it was by far my most favorite hotel/vacation EVER!!!!! It's absolutely gorgeous and you do not have to worry about the food or water! They have bottled water, and all other drinks/ice are made with purified water! Have an AMAZING time! We can't wait to go back!

No need to worry about the food or water! The food is amazing and they give you bottled water in the room! DH and I were just talking about this place and were thinking about going back! We loved it there!

they have bottled water there and refill your mini fridge everyday with snacks, beer and water. the food is pretty good !

We were there in Feb! We had a great time, no worries about the food and water (and I was about 16 weeks pregnant)  Have a great time!!!
