Excellence Playa Mujeres was AMAZING!
amazing amazing amazing is all i have to say...
ocean was incredible...no waves, warm water, turquoise, no shells, pebbles or rocks in the ocean just soft sand which was very pleasant on the feet (in aruba i remember it being a littles helly and pebbly on the way in and out where the water breaks) the only negative was the seagrass which was more like reeds than grass or seaweed - but that didn't bother us at all - one day there were lots of fish, a school of fish swam right through us - but we only saw fish one day, about 3 or 4 different species - some people seemed scared i thought it was cool and exciting  ...and you can go topless and not feel skanky which i loved! drink service at the beach was awesome...
pools were nice but we hung out at the beach 90% of the time..
food at all the restaurants was great. i am picky and i ate like a pig! breakfasts were amazing, i had 3 eggs, bacon, sausage and ham every morning! lunches were also good. lobsterhouse for dinner was great...i even enjoyed their italian restaurant - go figure!
rooms are gorgeous! we had the standard room and we loved it...
the staff was great - it seemed like everyone remembered us after meeting us once and anything we wanted they got for us - even if they didn't have it at that restaurant they had someone go get it - if you tip good they will go above and beyond for you and they will remember you! i was practically telling them what to cook for me and they did whatever i wanted...drink waiters were amazing too - by the 2nd day we didn't even need to tell him what we wanted, he just kept bringing us our drinks and water...besides my wedding day it was the best service i ever had...
it was such a romantic and relaxing trip...we are planning to go back!

Dh and I went here on our honeymoon and we loved it. I would go back every year if I could afford it.
