Excess of estrogen? How do I get tested?
Ever since having my tubes tied, I have had extremely heavy and long periods. Plus, I am very irritable and moody, especially right before I get my period, or when I have break through bleeding (which occurs about 3 times a month). Plus my period seems to be coming about every 21-24 days when it used to be every 28 days. Dr. suggested doing an ablasion, which is schedule for mid May.
My ob said my symptoms have nothing to do with hormones, and not tied to my menstrual cycles. I was researching my symptoms, and some point to excess estrogen. Has anyone had that? How do I get tested for it? Who would I even go to to help me with this, bc my ob is no help (I have an appt with a new ob, but not until the end of May). I have a hemotologist? Can they help me with this?

An endocrinologist tests hormones and such. Where are you located? I have some refs for you.
