Midtown Manhattan Hedge Fund is currently seeking an EXECUTIVE PERSONAL ASSISTANT to their CEO. This is a highly visible and rewarding role that needs a dynamic and energetic individual who can make this position their own. You will handle a multitude of key organizational tasks such as managing all investor and client telephone communiqué, handling extensive international and domestic travel, taking care of any personal business requirements, and other related projects which may include heavy involvement with personal art collections, private events and dinner functions, and managing estate logistics. We hire the best in the business, and we expect you to be the same - someone with superb project management skills, can maintain poise when working under pressure, personable, awesome sense of humor, and someone who shows initiative naturally. I can only think that if they are offering that much $$ it will be a 24/7 type of job, for a very high maintenance person!

yep. it will probably be very stressful and the boss is probably very high maintenance. after holding a similar position at estee lauder i can tell you that all the money in the world wouldn't be enough to go back.

The job description sounds identical to a job I interviewed for before this one. They basically wanted an assistant for the office and home to be available 24/7, 365 days a year.

The job description sounds identical to a job I interviewed for before this one. They basically wanted an assistant for the office and home to be available 24/7, 365 days a year.
Personal Assistants always are. There are a ton of stories - true stories - of assistants having to get cars out of the garage, gassed up & ready to go at 2am or arrange for a Manhattan restaurant to deliver food out to the Hamptons. Luckily for the most part, I was the one dealing with those assistants versus being one.
Definitely challenging.

I have a good story for you sometime My mother worked for Estee herself 30-some years ago.
