What would you expect the average salary to be?

$45-60K
I have to edit my answer.. This range would be pre bad economy.
With the economy now the way it is:
Sadly, I am seeing anywhere from $32-45K

$25-60K
Really as low as $25k for someone with experience (and experience being a requirement)?
I went on a non-teaching job interview today and the salary was $13-15/hr....I wasn't looking for $60,000 (although it would have been nice) but more along the line of $20+ an hour would have been realistic.

Re: Executive Assistant Position on LI - Avg Salary
Sad as it is, and I can speak to my field too, paralegal/legal secretary 5 years of experience = $10-$15 hr. Jeez when I left on maternity we were paying our RECEPTIONIST $12/hr. I thought this was crazy and just kept looking and did eventually find a job within my salary range but I do see many employers trying to pay as little as possible.

you would be better off subbing per diem IMO. even though it's probably $14-18/hour depending on the SD, you will be putting time into the NYSTRS, plus resume and networking benefits.

the market blows but I didn't know what your experience level was. Just from what I know the ranges are.
I would expect with 5 years experience you could get in the 30K range or more.
