Exercise and IUI
I know this question has been asked a million times. Dr. B says it is ok to exercise...but
would you do high impact exercise like step aerobics and kickboxing with lots of bouncing and jumping. ( i am 3 days post IUI)
thanks so much! I am obsessing over this!

Re: Exercise and IUI
I'm probably the wrong person to answer this question because I'm the most paranoid person I know but I wouldn't start on any workout that my body is not used to Unless you have been doing high impact workouts all this time and your body's used to it, I don't think it would be a good time to start experimenting.... But then again...what do I really know.... why don't you ask Dr B again and be more specific about the type of exercise you are planning on doing and see what he says I would definitely trust his judgement

Re: Exercise and IUI
When I was TTC for Abby, I was MAYBE 2DPIUI and I was on an elliptical and working hardcore with a trainer. In fact, the RE that did the IUI was on the treadmill right behind me. I re-introduced myself to him and amazingly enough, he didn't remember me (it was a weekend IUI so he wasn't my regular RE). I guess he was used to seeing my "other parts" and not my face You will be fine. Oh and he did not tell me to stop working out.

Re: Exercise and IUI
Like Angel333 said, if it is something you usually do, should be fine.

Re: Exercise and IUI
I actually am NOT in an exercise routine.... and Dr.B told me to wait a few days after the IUI to start exercising...... However I did specify to him that I am NOT in any sort of routine!!!! (unless you count clicking the remote control a routine and walking back and for to the fridge! )
To play it safe, I would honestly wait till like 3 or 4 dpo ..

Re: Exercise and IUI
I started working out again hard core 2 days after my first b2b IUI. As long as you were working out before then it is fine.
