Experiences with The Place Furniture Gallery
Anyone want to share?? We fell in love with a dining room set. We have not been able to find anything that we loved until we found this.

We had a great experience with The Place. We were able to haggle with them on price. Furniture took about 6 weeks to come in I believe, but we weren't ready for it, so they held it for us until we were ready for it.

Damn it we should have tried to haggle with them...we showed our love for the furniture too soon

Yeah, we tried to keep our love a secret until they walked away to check prices. It also helped that we bout a bunch of stuff, so they were willing to work with us.

Yeah, we tried to keep our love a secret until they walked away to check prices. It also helped that we bout a bunch of stuff, so they were willing to work with us.
This is for a dining room set. The salesman seemed decent. The last time we went in there were didn't like the people in there. We were too anxious oh well we found what we wanted. How long ago did you get your furniture??

Like I said to you in FM, we have bought pretty much all of our furniture there in the past 3 years. They have been great to work with & DH always hassles them for a lower price. Even though you didn't do it the first time, when you go in to order it, ask them for their BEST price & guaranteed they will lower what they told you 
Delivery is around 6 weeks & everytime my furniture was either right on time or early...I never had a problem with them being late. Even had a problem with my dining room set 6 months after I had it (leave got a mark on it), they came & replaced it for free.

We bought our furniture almost a year ago. I would definitely go back to them though. And definitely haggle when you go back to order! You can get a lower price - especially since Columbus Day is coming - there are bound to be sales.
