Expert Excel Users...
Forgive me for the brain fart, but I can't remember the formula/logic at all for:
checking one cell and comparing it against the cells above it for duplicates....

If I understand what you are asking, I would use an if statement so =IF(A1=A2,"YES","NO") Hope that helps.
