Has anyone else noticed that their prices have gone up but the quality of the clothing is not better, and in some cases, worse?

YES!! I worked there through college. I owned everything they had back then and still have some it now b/c it has held up. Now, I walk in and walk out. The only thing is the pants are good for me b/c they come in long, but the material doesn't seem as nice and the price went WAY up!!!! I know for a fact that they put out the "better quality" clothes earlier in the season (ie. softer leather, etc), but I noticed that isn't even the case anymore. Too bad, I used to love shopping there.

I went to express few weeks ago and almost the whole store was filled with freaken jeans, w t f? I want to buy some other clothing

I bought jeans in there recently and they are alot thinner in material than my older express jeans, also their sizes are different now.
I don't care for alot of their stuff now.

I have to agree.....I dont know what happened. I only shop there if they are having the semi annual sales and when their stuff is reduced because its not worth paying full price!

True, I only go when I have coupons now. I'm not spending 80 dollars on a pair of pants that are not even comfortable.

I find it very hard to find anything in that store. I think ever since they launched their EXPRESS DESIGN STUDIO line their regular qualty cloths went down hill yet upped the price.

I feel the SAME way!
I actually used to get stuff for WORK in there all the time about 5 or 6 years ago when I was right out of college.
I went in there the other day and couldn't find ANYTHING! Then I thought that maybe I was just getting "old"!?!?

Absolutely!! When did Express start charging over $100 for pants?? I used to get them for $45!
I just spent a $50 GC I got there over 1 year ago! I couldn't find anything for $50 bucks! (I did wind up with my new fav. shirt thou!)

I used to love their stuff too. Same thing happened with Nine West, the quality has gone downhill while their prices skyrocket.
