Exterior House Painting
Has anyone eve repainted the exterior of their house instead of residing it?
Were you happy with that decision?
Pro's/Con's?
Was it more cost effective than re-siding?
If so, I will take some recommendations for painters.

I have the name of my painter at home he is doing our interior but I know he also does exterior, we chose to reside since we got a great price on it.

DH and I were discussing having our house painted this season as well. But not sure how much it costs? Any ideas? We have a 2 story colonial.

We painted the outside last year. It definitely looks much better. We couldn't afford to reside last year so we figured painting it would give us a few years before siding would really become necessary. DH and my dad did the painting so it just cost us the price of paint which I think was about $150(?). We used Behr exterior.
