Extreme Couponing
I dont know if this has been posted about...but has anyone seen this show? How the eff do these people get so much $$ taken off their grocery bills with coupons? Every coupon I have ever seen always states "One coupon per purchase" type stipulations. So I dont get how they are pulling such awesome deals off?!?!? Is this an only in NYC type thing?

Re: Extreme Couponing
One per purchase means one coupon per item you are purchasing. i.e. you can't use two of the same .55 off coupons on one single item (unless you are at Target and it's a store and manuf. coupon).

Re: Extreme Couponing
I think it's something that will soon be disappearing, from what I gather..... with the success of the show and people learning about this lifestyle, I have read that a lot of stores will now be tightening up their coupon policies.
Many states and special stores take triple coupons, etc....and some coupon cheaters actually have been using the incorrect coupon code for another product.
For example, if Heinz Ketchup was on sale and there wasn't a coupon for it, a coupon trickster could maybe use a coupon for Mayo and then the sale will come up.
