Extreme frustration setting in!!
I'm just venting here....
I can't even begin to tell you how hard a time we're having with choosing a name for this . We talk about it almost every day and just cant agree on one. The problem is that neither of us are in love with any particular name. I just spent the last two hours looking at a 'baby names' message board for some inspiration but really came out of it in the same place---completely and utterly undecided and lost!
Anyone else having as hard a time as us?? Sometimes I wish I was one of those girls who has known what her childrens names would be since she was like 10 years old. Urgh.

I agree... inspiration will come when you look into your beautiful baby girl's eyes...do you have a list narrowed down?

This is another thing I'm afraid of. I'm afraid that she's going to live the first few weeks of her life nameless. lol
We have a really long list of names that we both like but don't agree on, does that count?? LOL
I'm sure eventually it will be like an "ah haa!" moment, and a light bulb will go off and it will all become clear. But for now, I'm just frustrated.

Re: Extreme frustration setting in!!
DH rejected everything I liked and I didn't care for the few names he suggested. We didn't know what we were having, which made it even worse since we had to come up with two sets of names. We finally started going through a baby book when I was 36 weeks and came up with a short list of names. We didn't pick a final name until right after DS was born. Don't worry. You'll find a name you both love.

Re: Extreme frustration setting in!!
We're having the same problem with boys names. he wants something italian which i dont mind, but I dont like anything he comes up with. I love more modern boys names, he hates them. i told him we'll put it on the backburned until we find out if we even NEED to worry about boys names!
at least we decided on a girls name in 1 day!

Re: Extreme frustration setting in!!
we've got a boy's name but just can't find one for a girl either. but i figure we'll think of one eventually if we have to (we find out the sex on 3/9). for some reason girls' names were hard for us last time too.
you've got plenty of time. as hard as it is, i really would try not to stress about it. the more pressure you put on yourself to find a name you like, the less appealing the names will be to you, imo.
maybe take a break from looking so hard? i would leave the issue behind for a while and embrace the uncertainty. i'm sure that, with time, a name will come to you that you will love.

Re: Extreme frustration setting in!!
We have 3 possible girl names (all family names) and a boy will be named after DH's father unless we can come up with something we like/agree on.
I don't even mind naming a after DH's father (even though I don't love the name), I'd just like to have another one in mind.

Re: Extreme frustration setting in!!
We are having a hard time coming up with a boys name! We are on team so we need both names. But we can only agree on a girl's name.

Re: Extreme frustration setting in!!
We had that trouble too. No problem with a boy name but the girl name it was so hard. So once we found out we were having a girl then we really started to think and I just happened to be in a children boutique and found the name I wanted well part of it.
