Extreme Makover: Home Edition hottie Ty Pennington arrested *UPDATED*
Ty Pennington was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol and drugs while driving.
Pennington Speaks After DUI Bust
TMZ broke the story that Ty Pennington was arrested Saturday night for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Pennington has just issued the following statement:
"I made an error in judgment. We all make mistakes, however this is about accountability. Under no circumstances should anyone consume alcohol while driving. I could have jeopardized the lives of others and I am grateful there was no accident or harm done to anyone. This was my wake-up call. I also want to apologize to my fans, ABC Television and my design team for my lapse in judgment and the embarrassment I have caused."

Sucks though...,he does good on the show (of course he gets paid) and I think it might mar his rep.

He has ADHD and is a huge advocate for it as well. This is very unfortunate for him and his career, however he is one of the rare celebs that apologize and are honest about it.

What is disturbing is I am sure he's done a makeover for a family who lost someone due to drunk driving...
I do admire him for what he does though. I love that show.

He always reminds me of Shaggy from Scooby Doo.
Aside from that, I hope he learned from this and will never do that again. I also hope he is not fired. I love him on Extreme Home Makeover.

 Not surprised, he seemed like he'd be into partying, though he did seem very healthy the week I worked w/ them (running, eating healthy, etc...)
