Extremely stupid question

How do you use a nasal aspirator? Just stick it in the nostril and squeeze?

Ryan is so congested - little man was snorting all night so much that I slept in his glider just to hold him up better. Anyway, I gave him a squirt of Little Noses and wanted to aspirate but don't know how Chat Icon

Re: Extremely stupid question

You squeeze it first then stick it in their nose so it s&cks everything out.

Re: Extremely stupid question

Think of it like the squirty bath toys - you push the air out before putting it in the bath to s uck the water into it - same thing with the snot sucker (as i call it!)Chat Icon

squeeze it first and then stick it in and let it suck the good stuff out. I am probably the only one but I find it sooooooo satisfying when I get a "good" booger out! Chat Icon

yeah... good thing the nurses at the hospital taught me how to use the nasal aspirator because i never would have squeezed the bulb FIRST. for the longest time i avoided ever using it because i was so nervous that i would forget and do it wrong and end up hurting ds Chat Icon

Re: Extremely stupid question

Keep giving his the nose drops - I found this works better than using the aspirator. I rarely got much out unless there was something ready to come out on its own.
