Eye Doctor recommendation (Nassau)
I recently had an apt with an opthamolgist. I ended up not seeing the doctor b/c they gave me a hard time with the added cost for a "Refraction." I was told no insurance covers it and it's $50 if you go to an opthamologist.
My insurance will cover a visit for an optometrist for glasses and an opthamologist for eye health. So I will see both.
I'm in Nassau (North Shore). Can you recommend your doctor???

She's on the south shore (Seaford) but I highly recommend her:

South Shore Eye Care. I see Dr. Luchs.
It's the south shore though in Wantagh.
I think their practice is very good.
