eyes not focusing together sometimes
sometimes Bryan's eyes dont work together- the doctor said to keep and eye on it and if it doesnt correct itself they would send him to an optomologist - I have been noticing an improvement over the days but I still cant help but worry They said the worst it could be is lazy eye and caught early is treatable Im still worried though

Don't worry. We took Rebecca to a pediatric opthomologist when she was two weeks old. They were concerned with her not opening one eye.
The doctors are great and they have tons of little ones with eye problems...key is early treatment.

I think I remember my ped saying it was normal, their muscles are not developed fully yet.

thats what I thought too until my ped said to keep an eye on now I cant stop thinking about it.

I had this problem with marissa but the ped said it had to do with the tear ducts one eye opend before the other. They gave me some drops to help the other open and if that didn't help then they would of sent her to the optimologist with in a few weeks it opend and she was fine.

My ped said not to worry about it, that it is normal for them to have 'goggly' eyes in the beginning, the muscles aren't strong enough to focus yet. By 8-12 Weeks I think Claire was focusing normally and has no problems.
