Face Scratches

My dd woke up on Monday morning with a big scratch on her face. We had a doctors appointment that day so the doctor saw it and didnt say anything. I cut her nails and been checking it to make sure it is healing but otherwise leaving it alone. The staff at her daycare told me I should put cocoa butter on it otherwise it will scar. As anyone else heard this or put anything on their babies faces? (Sydney is 3 weeks old)
Thanks

Whenever Jake scratches his face (which is often) I put a little Neosporin on it and it heals faster.

Julia does that a lot too, I have to trim her nails everyday! I just put a little aquaphor onit.

Real nice way to scare the new mommy. Geez! I don't think she'll scar from a little scratch.

The only thing I've ever used on my dd's face is aquaphor when it felt dry. I've never put anything on the scratches (and there have been many of them that have come and gone).
