Facebook question about privacy/blocking....
So, I will be posting our pregnancy news on Facebook tomorrow (DH’s birthday), I’m uploading a funny picture with a comment about our due date (it’s the “Due Date” movie poster with our faces photoshopped in, DH is over Robert Downey Jr’s body and of course I’m Zach Galfinakis, how attractive lol!!)….anyway, if I tag DH in the post his friends can see and comment on it right? There is a girl he went to school with that I find super annoying and I just don’t want to see her annoying comments on the picture! (she makes everything about herself lol) Do I need to block her or something so she’s unable to comment on the pic if DH is tagged in it? (I am not friends w/ this girl)

I believe that if you tag your DH in it, then yes, his friends can see and comment on your picture. BTW cute way to announce!

Re: Facebook question about privacy/blocking....
If you ARE friends with her, you can individually block her from seeing it. If you're not, you can't.

Re: Facebook question about privacy/blocking....
Thanks guys! So I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't tag DH in it right away if I want to avoid this girl (since other people will start commenting individually on DH's wall anyway with a congrats I'm sure (mutual friends of ours) and then the annoying girl will probably see that and say congrats directly to him.....I guess with me being low on patience lately I just get annoyed every time I see this girl's name (she's an attention wh*re! lol)....so I may tag DH after it's old news I just can't deal w/ that idiot head on!

Re: Facebook question about privacy/blocking....
Very well!!! Thanks for asking Carrie Ann!! I decided to just tag DH in the post, and fortunately most of the idiot friends didn't post comments LOL I only had 1 annoying comment, from someone in my family (who I'm not that close with!!) who wrote "congrats, but why am I hearing about this via Facebook?" UGH why do people have to make things about themselves!! lol And what's silly is her mom knew, so why wouldn't I assume that she was told??? I don't even know how to reply to her without sounding bitchy! lol (I was thinking about writing "you're right, next time I'll send a carrier pigeon over with the news!" I guess that wouldn't go over well

Re: Facebook question about privacy/blocking....
I got annoying comments too when I announced on FB. A relative on DHs side who we've never even met actually wrote 'we were wondering when you two were going to have kids' I guess since we've been married almost five years. I don't think they meant it to sound rude but it really bothered me! I just ignored it though as hard as it was. I think some people just try really hard to sound funny on Facebook and they don't realize that they come off sounding like d-bags.
At any rate, doesn't it feel great to finally let everyone know you're pregnant? I was so happy when we did. Now it really feels real!

Re: Facebook question about privacy/blocking....
It feels great to be out in the open!!! at work and with all of our friends & family!! No more making up excuses for not drinking or worrying if people are staring at my tummy
By the way, update on the FB comments... turns out my cousin told me the relative who made the snarky comment ("how come I'm finding this out on facebook?"), actually KNEW already, omg this girl will do anything for drama!! lol So annoying, I found this out after I had already commented back to her "sorry but b/c of our pregnancy history we didn't tell many people until I was out of the 1st trimester", I was genuinely feeling bad if she was actually hurt (even though again, we're not close!!), but now to find out she actually knew already and was just being a jerk to get attention I know I'm more sensitive right now but I am really annoyed!!!!
