facial hair removal
During pregnancy my side burns grew in more, thicker and growing into my cheeks as well as on my chin and between my throat and chin....I have been threading but I want to get rid of it...it makes me so self conscience.
Can someone recommend a place in Nassau; I live in East Meadow and work in Carle Place, and tell me the approximate cost please.
Thanks in advance

Re: facial hair removal
would you consider doing electrolysis? When i lived on Long Island, I went to a woman in Massapequa.
Her prices have probably changed since I moved to NJ 3 yrs ago.
FM if you want her information.

Re: facial hair removal
you can do it while you're pregnant if you get a dr's note. the only kind you can't do is the one where you complete the electrical circuit by holding a metal rod.

Re: facial hair removal
I would look into laser hair removal as opposed to electrolysis.
Much less paniful and I think more commonly done now a days. The laser zaps mulitple hairs at one time where as electroylsis is one at time. You also can't be tanned while you are doing it.
Although I am not sure you can do it while you are pregnant.

sandal wood day spa in massapequa does IPL treatments... kinda like electrolosis, but its done with high energy light beams
i got it done about 3 years ago and she charged $75 a treatment or you could pay $500 for 5 treatments plus three follow up appointments free
