Faint line and false positive
Did anyone get a faint line on a HPT (ept) and it turned out to be a false positive?

are you trying to tell us something?????
Blue ink tests are known for evaporation lines (false positive) including EPT that is why pink ink tests are better (FRER is the best) but if the line came up within 3-5 minutes then I think it is a BFP!!!!!! false positives usually come up after the required time....
Take another tests and let us know!!!!!

Yes, but it was on a Digital. It said "pregnant" I got AF the next day. I tested when I was a day late too.

any false positive would be an evap line.... just test again in the morning, if it's real, it should get darker
they have lots of pics of evap lines on www.peeonastick.com....

It can be a false positive if it didn't appear until after 5 minutes. I would not take a digital as your second test because they are less sensitive.
If you're like me, once I got a faint line I started POAS in the morning, afternoon and at night (after holding it as much as I could). The more you drink though the more you actually 'thin' out the hormones in your urine stream. So make it minimal to take another test. So many factors!!!!!
