faint line on opk?
I took my opk this morning and i was just reading that you shouldnt use your fmu. I had no idea but i did get a faint line. Is this accurate if it is just a faint line. I am going to test again tonight. what is the best time to test at night?

No. The line should be equal or darker to the test line. I've gotten faint lines for 8 days in a row and i wasn't ovulating.

You will get faint lines and then get a line that is the same or as dark as the other line. You have to interpret when the two lines are similar then you are close to O. You can have several days of faint lines.

A faint line could mean right before or after O

a faint line could mean you are:
a. coming up on O
b. o has past and the leftover hormone is still there..
best time to test is after a hold and between 2:00 and 8:00 pm.
the hormone you are testing for is one that needs to BUILD in your system over the course of the day.
during the hold - don't drink too much - it will dilute the hormone.

my af ended on monday. i tested tuesday and wednesday and i got a really light barely visible line wednesday but like i said i did it in the morning. so i am hoping i didnt miss it. the line does seem to be getting more visible so i will test tonight at 8 and see if anything comes up.

that's right - i wasn't sure if that was you...
if the lines have been getting darker every day - i would say you are coming up on O...
start testing today - between 2:00 & 8:00....see what happens..

keep testing, chances are you didn't miss your surge.
Remember, LH is just about always present in your body so you would get a faint line. The ony true +OPK is when the test line is equally as dark or darker then the control line.

i always get a faint line and i rarely ovulate. it means nothing unless it's as dark or darker than the control line.

because i don't get my period every month and i test for ovulation often. i'm very irregular.
