Fainting

So I was feeling so good, up until I hit the 18th week mark...which was just this past Thurs!

And today, I thought I was going to faint, 3 times, at work. Is this normal? I've never had that before, it only lasted a few minutes and then I got really really hot. So strange.

Anyone else have this?

Re: Fainting

It could be low sugar thats make you feel faint. See your doctor. My co worker had a few fainting spells and it was something related to her heart and blood pressure.

I had that happen a couple of weeks ago, I was only 14 weeks, but it ended up being dehydration. So keep drinking! I would still call your dr. just to be safe. The only reason I didn't is because our nurse here checked me out and is awesome, so I totally trust her.

I have felt faint quite a few times, mainly in my later pregnancy and got checked out and all is well. I was told it can be normal with everything being squished around in us and such but have it checked to be sure!

Re: Fainting

I felt it once around same time you did. I didnt actually faint because I got out of the store. But DH and were waiting on line at Harrow buying christmas decorations and the line was long so i was standing their in my coat not moving and all of sudden i got really hot, i went out side and the cold felt so good. Their happen to be a staples next door so I bought a lemonade and that helped also. I think it could be low sugar. If you feel like that try to drink some orange juice to bring the sugar level back up.

Re: Fainting

I am. I'm 18 weeks too, and last Tuesday I almost passed out on the train on the way into the city and on the way home too. I saw my dr. Wednesday and she said I need to rest....thanks!
