Fall colors for Thanksgiving outfits?

Just curious...do you choose T-Day outfits with fall colors in them for DC? Or does it not matter to you?
I saw a dress I like that's a seasonally appropriate material, but it's pink, cream, and gold. And I'd need to put a pink cardi over it. I was going to get it for DD to wear on T-day, but then I keep thinking that I should get something a little more festive in fall colors.

I like to stick to the fall colors (browns, oranges, etc) but that's jut me.

If I see something I like in Fall colors, then fine- but I don't base the outfit around the fall colors.

I personally am not a fan of fan colors- I find them kind of muted and depressing.
So most of the time I avoid them and so does DD
