False + with OPK's? confused

Has anyone gotten a real one (not where you may have just gotten the tale end of O). I took a test yesterday afternoon and the 2nd line was WAY darker then the control line. Then I took another one like 2 hours later and the 2nd line was light. I took another one before we BDed last night and this AM and afternoon and the line is still light, so i am thinking i got a false +. I had taken a test the day before and i got a negative tehn too. In the past I normally get my line for 2 days or atleast a full 24 hours. Is it possible to get a line for only one day or a short amount of time?

Hi B - It is possible, especially with PCOS. I found this out when we first started with the RE. It turned out my +OPKs were false positives when they ran bloodwork and did a sono on me. However, it could be you just caught the surge and then when you tested again caught the end of your surge.

thanks Michelle, i was just reading that online too. I am hoping its not b/ c of that, but my periods and O time have been so crazy and irregular lately, i am just not sure. I figure we will TTC a couple of months and then i will call an RE if it doesn't happen (my OB recommended this to) or if i see i am not O or getting AF
