Familiar with the Massapequa area?
We're attending a wedding in august at the manor east. Does anyone know of any hotels in the area that aren't crazy expensive?

There are a few new ones on 110. I believe a Marriot Courtyard was just put in and another one I am not sure of the name. There aren't that many hotels in teh area. The ones on 110 are probably a 15 min drive where the best western is probably about the same as well.

I've had relatives stay at the Best Western - I'd go with that.

Manor East is literally around the corner from me, and that is the closest hotel

Re: Familiar with the Massapequa area?
My sister and friends stayed at the best western and had a watch stolen. It magically reappeared when they complained to management. I wouldn't stay there if you paid me. Plus, they are right across the street from the LIRR and you can hear it at night. Go to one of the newer ones on 110.
