family friendly, but yummy, Riverhead restaurant (Hotel Indigo)
Hi. I know there's a similar thread, but not exactly what I need. We have a group of 13 that will be doing an overnight trip at the Hotel Indigo to celebrate my FIL's 70th birthday. We want to go to dinner for him, so the place should be yummy. But there will be 5 kids ranging 18 months to 11 years. Any suggestions? Thanks!

ITA, DH and I stayed there twice and ate there. Delicious meals both times! You can also eat outside which may be good for the kids!

Thanks! We actually were going to go there, but my SIL wanted other suggestions. Glad to know it's so well regarded!

In downtown riverhead you've got
The Riverhead Project
Joes Garage
Jerry and the Mermaid
Tweeds
Digger O'dell's
DH and really like the cooperage inn in baiting hollow also. It's one of our favorite restaurants
Cooperage Inn

I was going to suggest diggers or the cooperage. I went to the riverhead project last week and the food was amazing but it had more of a loungey atmosphere.

Yes, I read about the Riverhead Project on another post, and it sounded great, but probably not appropriate for our group. We'll probably do Bistro 72, but maybe Cooperage.
