Family In Need Miller Place

Not sure if I can post this or not this was my neighbor house this happen too. She has a teenage daughter who lost everything!! Please FM if you have anything This is the e-mail that was sent around the school district

On Friday November 13th a Miller Place family had a terrible house fire. The house will take six months to rebuild and very little was salvaged. The family is need in of clothes and money. The social workers at the schools are collecting checks and gift cards for the family. If you would like to write a check please make it out to "North Shore Youth Council" or NSYC with "kids in need" written in the memo line. Gift cards would also be greatly appreciated to places such as Kohl's or Stop & Shop etc. Please drop these off with the social workers at any of the schools

If you have new or gently used clothing the family could use that would be great. The following sizes are needed.

Junior size 2 for teenager

Women's size 12, medium top

Women's size 16, XL top
