family outings with 7-8 mth old?

DH and I are both off all this coming week. I would like to do something fun, just the three of us. I was thinking of maybe taking DD to Atlantis Aquarium. Is that dumb?! I don't know what else we can do with her that she might enjoy , especially during these crappy winter months. I thought maybe she would like looking at the fishies, etc. Any suggestions?

DD was just under a year when we went to Atlantis for the first time. She was fascinated by the fish, especially the shark tank. I think your DD would like it. Don't miss the jelly fish up on the second floor.

I also recommend White Post, they have a nice indoor area and at 8 months DD loved seeing animals.

If you want something closer to home and free go to a mall with a pet store and let her see the puppies.

DD is a big people watcher. At that age she loved going out to lunch at Panera. We'd get there early and pick a good table for her to see people and the fire place. She always eats all of her lunch (that I pack) and she loves being there. Mommy gets a yummy lunch too.
