Family photoshoot - What did you wear?
What did all of you wear, especially if you have a DD? Did you stick to one color scheme?

We did one a few years ago and put the parents in white and the kids in orange. It really popped and let the kids be the focus, but we were still in the pics.

My girls wore yellow and white striped sundresses. I wore white jeans and a yellow and white striped tank top with a cardigan sweater over it. My husband wore a casual white button front with a neutral plaid short.
We did ours at the Grange in Sayville, so it was green in the background.

Best advice we got was to work off the colors of DD's outfits. If she wears a dress that is pink and brown, you can wear pink and your DH can wear brown.
I think it looks really nice when the clothes all work together, but don't match.
In a recent shoot DD wore a cream dress and I wore a cream shirt and jeans and DH wore a brown shirt and jeans. Then DD changed into a shirt that had a few different colors and the cream I wore and the brown DH wore still worked.
The final outfit was a white and blue dress (different blues) and I wore a white shirt with jeans and DH wore a blue shirt with jeans.

we went with blues. I had a royal blue shirt and jeans, DH had a light blue shirt and jeans, DS had a blue in between with a white undershirt (we left the shirt unbuttoned) and khaki pants.

Dh and I both wore navy tops (I had white bottoms, he had light khaki) and DS wore a white top with blue polo horse and navy shorts

Family photoshoot - What did you wear?
i didn't want us to be too matchy, so i went off of what i picked for DS to wear. i was the fall, so he wore a brown and blue plaid shirt and brown pants and i wore a green shirt and DH wore a brown shirt and we both wore jeans.

DD had a dress on that had blue and cream in it.
I wore a cream sundress.
DS wore khaki shorts with a light blue polo.
DH wore a blue pin stripe button down with jeans.
I love how our pictures came out. We weren't super matchey.... our outfits flowed together.
