Family visiting vent

My parents decided that they wanted to get together with my in laws one last time before baby is here. We decided this weekend worked best for everyone. I am due in a week. I have no problem having them over but that was with the intentions of us meeting at my house and then us going out to eat. I've been working 50 plus hrs a week and have been so exhausted I haven't had a chance to clean my house thoroughly. I really was looking forward to one last weekend to just relax before the baby comes.

Since my parents are coming two other family members decided to come too because they wanted to finish a project at my house. I'm extremely grateful that they are willing to do the work for us for free however it's not something that needs to be done and we have made it known that we dont need it done. So now that we have people working at the house I have to entertain 15 plus people (siblings are coming too) I've already ordered trays of food but I'm just not up for entertaining at my house. I feel like I have to be even more thorough now with cleaning.
My house is small too so I don't even know how we are going to fit everyone to eat.

Thanks for listening to me complain. I just need to get it off my chest.

I can relate!!!! Some our family has a history of this. I think people mean well but don't realize that it's a lot for us!!!!

Before the delivery, we asked for no visitors at the hospital on day 1 until we called our families. I went in for cs at 730 and had to be at hospital for 530. And low and behold my FIL shows up while I am in recovery and then literally stayed for 5 hours. I understand he's excited to see his grandson but I just had major surgery, was in a good deal of pain, exhausted from no sleep and essentially a bloody mess lol. And it made breastfeeding so much for difficult for me because I just wasn't comfortable with him there, etc. Just so annoying!!! I totally get it.

Now my cousin doesn't understand why we don't want visitors on our first day home! It's like people forget what it's like to have a new baby.

All these people know you are about give birth, so they are acting awfully rude. Just say no!
