Fannie Mae?
Last night I was talking to someone who went to a home buying seminar, and she said that there is a program named Fannie Mae in which your closing costs can be paid for you? Is this true? It doesn't sound realistic to me...

Fannie Mae is government backed
I can ask my DH- he sells FHA loans- which are backed by Fannie Mae so he should know

there are programs for qualifying first time home buyers where they'll pay your closing costs.
My sister did one. It may be through fannie mae, but I thought it was a NYS program - I'll ask her.
