Farmingdale Train Station Parking
Anyone know what the parking rules are at the Farmingdale train station?
I'm considering commuting to NYC from Farmingdale (DD's daycare is there and I don't want to move her) but I live in Hempstead town, so parking there might be an issue.

The amount of parking isn't the greatest - but there is parking there.
I find that Deer Park has the best parking lot on the Ronkonkoma line, but I know that's further east for you.

The parking lot in Farmingdale is a nightmare. I live in FDale. You MUST have a village parking sticker to park there, and there is a waiting list approxiamtely 2 years long to get one. If you do not have one and park there anyway, be prepared for your car to be towed and/or a parking ticket. There is no parking allowed on any of the surrounding streets either. The map that a previous posted put up is not very accurate.
You are better off going to Hicksville IMO.

My mother lives in Farmingdale and goes out of the Bethpage station.
When we lived in Farmingdale DH drove to the massapequa one (that is town of oyster bay and Massapequa park you need to live in the village). Massapequa is also Bablyon line and express. I am not sure that the Ronkonkoma is express.

Ronkonkoma line does have express trains.
