Farmville Question- UPDATE I think I found a fix
It runs so slow. Especially when I am trying to plow and place crops, it drags. Is there a faster way to do this?
....I accidentally hit the button next to the zoom out button (toggle full screen) and it deletes the facebook screen and expands the farm screen. No more lagging! it runs a lot quicker.

Re: Farmville Question
Yes, here are my tips:
1. Fence in your little mini-me somewhere so it cant travel in the farm. This way the game doesnt wait for your little person to harvest/plow. Usually I lock mine in with the farm animals.
2. Never plow/harvest while in full screen mode. I find that if you click the zoom out once works the best.
Hope that helps!

Re: Farmville Question
In order to lock the mini-farmer in, they have to be by the animals, right? You can't just move them over there.
I have a ton to harvest, and of course none of my animals are ready!

Wait, if you lock her in, how does she go from plot to plot? or doesn't she need to?

Re: Farmville Question
She doesn't need to. I have mine locked in with hedges. The game definitely lags a lot less to do this.

Correct, the mini me doesnt have to move in order to harvest crops....it doesnt have to move in order to harvest animals or trees either. Lock her up on your farm where ever you like and plow and harvest away!

Oh wow.. I had no idea I could lock her away. I just thought I had made the mistake of not leaving spaces for her to walk through and now I was going to have to pay for it.
She will be getting imprisoned as of this evening.. whaaa ha ha ha

Re: Farmville Question- UPDATE I think I found a fix
READ THIS if you have a dual core (or more) processor.
Apparently if you only run on one processor it goes faster. I did it last night at home and DH and I were SOOOOOOOOOO happy that it ran faster.
Also, there's a LOT of stuff on there regarding tips & tricks on how to get more $$$ and level up faster ! That's where I learned about the "trapping method" too !!
HTH !! Happy farming !!

Re: Farmville Question- UPDATE I think I found a fix
its been very frustrating when you plow everything and plant and then go back to it again and find out that it only registered half of what you did and half your crops withered. I must try locking her in!

When you first start the game, its standing in the center of your farm. Just build a fully enclosed fence or hedges around her.
