Re: Fashion Pet Peeves
Agree with many of these. Also HATE the boots/booties with the toes out- WTH is the point lol.
Navy blue and black together (very few outfits can pull this off)
Clear bra straps lol we still see them!
Men who wear fashion scarves, capris, Ed Hardy shirts or dress shoes/slip ons with no socks. Yuck.

Lol this is awesome Foot overhang is annoying Long toenails along with foot overhang is unforgivable
Too many trends or being worn at once annoys me. Do you really need leopard, cheetah, zebra and giraffe all in one outfit?

I loathe those really short denim shorts with the inner pocket hanging out, so that the pocket is longer than the shorts themselves!! Wtf is up with this trend? I've seen a lot of people wearing them lately, and even worse, heavier people jamming themselves into them. Ick!

I hate men with perfectly shaped, waxed eye brows. I find that I avoid making eye contact with these guys because I find their eyebrows to be very distracting. Weird, I know but it really bothers me.

White shoes. Hate them. Make everything look cheap.
Chipped nail polish, drives me crazy and just looks trashy.
Clothing that is too tight if you are heavy. I am a big girl, i hate seeing big ladies in clothes meant for a size 2 (a legit size two).
White flip flops, never look clean.

I agree with most things posted on here and I'll just add - my 59 yr old mil, who dresses like her 13 yr old granddaughter in cotton babydoll dresses, a bazillion necklaces worn at once, and hats that look rediculous on her.

Black and brown worn together...I know this is acceptable to some but I just don't like the look of it.
Shorts where the pockets are longer than the shorts itself.
Leggings not worn properly.

I don't get the appeal of Toms or Sperrys. I know they're all the rage...I just don't get it. Sparkly/metallic versions of either of the two are even worse.
Back off my Sperry's! Especially my gold ones. You have no idea how much effort I put into finding them in gold. I love them, they're comfortable and I don't have to worry about my chipped pedicure when I wear them.
But I agree about Toms. Ick. And pretty much everything else you posted.
(I really don't care if anyone agrees with my choice of footwear, but I couldn't help but laugh when I read that the metallic version was even worse after I searched hi and low for mine).

Also, people who insist on wearing something 2 sizes too small - "It zips" is NOT the same as "it fits"
I just love this!

I can't say I really have any fashion peeves...everyone's got their own preferences and anyway, I'm certainly no one to judge--except when my girls get older.
Buuut....
The one thing that drives me irrationally crazy is when it's cold--I'm talking like 30 degrees cold!--and women are going around wearing dresses with bare legs. What the hell is wrong with stockings or tights?!! I mean, I become unhinged when I see this
I just hate wearing tights...MIL always harasses me about it but I just cant do it.
And if its 30 degrees out and I dont wear tights, then I have no room to complain, so I dont.

Skinny jeans on men leggings or tights worn as pants (I mean the sheer kind). Shorts were I can see tush hanging out. No one , no matter how old or young should wear this look if they have any self respect. If your toes hang off of the front of your shoe, then the shoe does not fit you. This is my number one pet peeve.
Ugh, i hate when people hang ten, it grosses me out.

Re: Fashion Pet Peeves
First I want to say that I think everyone should wear what makes them happy regardless of what anyone thinks about. But since it was asked - my peeves:
- platform flip flops ( on of the or st things yet there - they need to sTay in the 90s) - Capri pants ( I feel like they are part of the mom uniform and I think they are really unflattering on everyone) - pandora bracelets ( sorry they just annoy me) - those fit flops shoes

Those bootie sandal heals, and those tight shirts with the big ruffle at the bottom, don't know what it is called but they don't seem to flatter anyone.

ITA!!! I also can't stand flip flops being passed off as shoes.
In what context? I don't understand why flip flops are not shoes.
Yeah I don't get that either
Yeah, these are my summer shoes.
Not sure what she meant but MAYBE she meant flip flops with a work type dress or dressy pants?
Yes, that is exactly what I meant. I don't think there's ANYTHING wrong with flip flops, but I'm talking about scruffy, beat up flip flops with either a fancier type dress or business attire, especially with dress pants that are too long to be wearing flip flops with and the bottoms of the pants get caught in the flip flop.
Flip flops are my commuting shoes is the summer. I change when I get to the office.

Sounds like MY MIL. She refuses to accept that shes 60+, rocks string bikini's and... whatever
I dont know if I'm getting old, but most trends in Forever 21 has been annoying me lately. When did looking like a dork become cool? When did acid wash pleated jeans with studs make a comeback? Weird styles, weird shapes. Rhinestones and metal findings on everything from sheer button down boxy shaped vests to ugly patterned harlequin pants. Ughghh! I dont know what it is, but I cant stand the trend lately. All I seem to find is either boring cardigans or super SUPER trendy clothing- EVERYWHERE.
I know that the super trendy stuff is geared for 15 year olds, but seriously, some of the stuff they have out there looks completely unappropriate for a teen and rediculous for an adult.

Fashion Pet Peeves
Plus Size clothes that are frumpy or unflattering. It's so hard to find clothes that are cute and age appropriate and that aren't club type clothes with just extra fabric.

Several years ago I remember looking at a guy and a girl on the train with dorky haircuts, wearing thick black glasses, skinny jeans and a cardigan sweater thinking 'when did looking like a nerd become cool?'
YES!!!
