Fashionistas - Want to shop for me and find me an outfit?
I am going on a cruise around Manhattan next Friday night with my husband. It's a business function but they said casual attire.
I am a SAHM. At the moment, my wardrobe is crappy. I either have super casual clothes or formal dresses and nothing in between. Besides the fact I just don't know how to dress anymore.
Can somebody dress me for this? I'm pretty proportional, 5' 8", and size 4/6.
Post some suggestions please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

$100 is fine. I figured it would cost me at least that much. I need shoes too, so maybe even a little more.

for a cruise around manhattan.. i am thinking a simple jersey knit wrap dress. you put on nice heels and a chunky bracelet or necklace and you are good to go!

Love the dresses but I was thinking more of a pants outfit.
If I did wear a dress (I like #1) could I wear boots already or is it way too early?

I'd go with nice dark jeans and a dressy/casual top... a nice heel, possibly a peep toe...
This is all from Jcrew.. top is $110, and jeans are $135.. you can find something similar for cheaper!! Especially with your shape and size.. should be pretty easy... I'd bring a cardigan type sweater too incase you get chilly on the boat at night.

These are trouser jeans also from JCrew.. onsale for $80... would be very cute with a simple top like this..
This top is onsale at JCrew for $20.. can easily be dressed up with accessories!

hmm, i dont know... it might be a tad early for boots but you might be able to get away with it.. depending on the weather.
if it the air has a slight chill in it, then you could prob. get away with it.
if it is seasonably warm, i wouldnt do boots...

I think dark jeans and a top are a great idea, or even black pants and a top....
Some ideas:
(All from NY & Co, so reasonable prices)
ETA: And maybe just a simple black peep toe--you could go anywhere for that...here are some from Zappos:
