Fat or Carbs?
There are days I feel like cheese and bacon are ok to eat all the time since it has no carbs but I'm sure the fat content isn't healthy. What is best to follow a low fat or low carb diet?

cheese and bacon are NOT okay to eat all the time unless you want your arteries clogged!
read the nutritional labels, stick to the serving sizes, eat whole grain carbs and carbs from veggies and IMO everything in MODERATION!

Fat or Carbs?
I would say neither. I don't like the "all or nothing" approaches. I agree with the previous poster with everything in moderation.

Re: Fat or Carbs?
Both. It's more complicated than just sticking to low fat or low carb. I try to keep to 50 grams of fat and 100 grams of carbs per day. But if it's whole grain carbs, I don't worry as much as if it were say straight sugar carbs.
Google low glycemic index foods. The ones on the lowest end of the scale are what I eat most.
