Father's day gift/diaper dude bag?
Do you plan on getting your DH/baby daddy a Father's day gift?
This is our first child, but I thought it would be cute to get him a little something. Was thinking of this camouflage diaper dude bag, but it's $60! Maybe I can find something a little cheaper, especially since I'm not sure he'll even use a diaper bag when LO is here!! For anyone that already has kids, do your DH's use a diaper bag?? (or would they if they had one for "dudes"? lol)

Re: Father's day gifts
i'm planning on getting a backpack style diaper bag that doesn't feel too baby-ish. DH and I will both probably use the same bag.
As for fathers' day, we won't really do gifts this year though DH's birthday is coming up and I might get him a The Flash onesie (among other things). Not sure why, but DH REALLY wants to dress up the baby as The Flash

Re: Father's day gifts
I mentioned a fathers day gift to DH and he said wait til next year so I guess I'm off the hook.
I also mentioned the diaper dude to him, but in reality, I just don't see him ever taking the babies out by himself and needing one.
I think they are cool though, so I still want to register for one.
Your DH will love it!

well since our babies will be due right around Halloween I guess it's good to think about their costume now! I think that's really cute that DH already has ideas like that, he will love that onesie!!!

thanks! DH is a hunter so camo is definitely the way to go IF he's actually willing to use a diaper bag!

DH won't carry a diaper bag, but if he has DD himself, he'll take something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Skip-Hop-Pronto-Changer-Diaper/dp/B000F1SCJK
I'd get a daddy picture frame. For DH's first father's day, I gave him a hand print ornament.

Re: Father's day gift/diaper dude bag?
My DH is the same way. He'd probably not carry a diaper bag, unless he really has to, or he'd rarely take LO out by himself so a Diaper Dude would be wasted. I chose to register for the Skip Hop Bento in black, in case he did want to take our LO out.
I plan on getting DH something from DaddyScrubs since it's our first and he can wear it during my L&D if he wants. They can double as pj's afterwards.

Re: Father's day gift/diaper dude bag?
I'm due three days before Father's Day. His gift will be a !
Seriously though, we won't do gifts before the baby is born (he didn't get me a mother's day gift this year, which was absolutely fine with me), but if our son or daughter is born before father's day, I will probably get him a little something, or at least have someone pick up a card from the baby.

Re: Father's day gift/diaper dude bag?
so you know Mike and he wouldn't be caught dead wearing any sort of bag no matter if its called a dude bag or man bag so if he takes the girls out without me, he uses a Jansport and that's as far as he will ever go lol.....i know your dh and he is very similar to mine so good luck with that

Thank you Jen!! I think I was waiting for feedback from someone else who's married to a "man's man" I guess I can't disguise it even if it IS a camouflage pattern, it's....... a man purse (or as I like to call them "murse" ). I'm thinking Sandra's suggestion of the diaper changer pad thingy might be more up his alley when the time comes (to throw in a Jansport most likely!! But maybe I'll wait on that and get him some other cutesy baby thing for father's day.

Re: Father's day gift/diaper dude bag?
DH has a backpack one. There were times when he went out with DS and I wasn't there so it was useful. He would never use my diaper bag.

Re: Father's day gift/diaper dude bag?
We registered for a diaper bag for DH but it still sits in the cabinet with the tags on it. The few times that he has taken DD by himself, he just takes mine that is already packed and ready to go.

Re: Father's day gift/diaper dude bag?
My DH took the baby out the other day and took my coach bag lol. So while we were at the outlets yesterday we bought him a Kenneth cole man bag for $50!
