Favorite Adult Summertime Beverage to make for a BBQ
I'm hosting a BBQ for family and have the whole menu planned except the "special" drink. I was thinking of a punch or a homemade spiked lemonade. Something fun, and summery with a "kick".
Any suggestions? Thanks!

I loooove Watermelon Lemonade.. adult style.
Basically you pulverize the watermelon in a blender - add lemon juice, water and sugar to taste and then throw in some vodka. Add a little mint and some ice to the finished product and you have delicious in a glass. It's good for the kids without vodka! You can also freeze it and serve it as a slushie too.
ETA: Watermelon flavored vodka is best with this!

We're into the Firefly Iced Tea vodka and lemonade this summer...I like to add lemon slices and fresh mint to the pitcher to make it look pretty.

I've been drinking the Firefly vodka this summer.
I do:
Peach flavored Firefly vodka
Lemonade (or its also great with Sweet Tea)
Sprite
Serve over ice. If you mix it in a pitcher you can throw some lemon slices or peach slices and it'll look great.

White Sangria is great and very refreshing at a summer BBQ with a Ton of Fruit to absorb!
Or you can do a Lemonade Slushy.........Pink or regular container of Lemonade......add Vodka and Ice......Blend until ice chips......Serve and Garnish with a lemon slice or lime. These go down real fast!
You can do this with Iced Tea also but I like the Lemonade better.

I LOVE Southern Comfort with lemonade. it's very easy and it's awesome.
I also love to make sangria. I do a nice champagne one.
mojitos of course go down really smooth.
