Favorite Broadway Non-Musical
Do people even go to these?
I live and die for Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. I saw it with Kathleen Turner 2 years ago and it was AMAZING
I also saw a great production of the Rainmaker, which is my guilty pleasure favorite play (Woody Harrelson was surprisingly SPECTACULAR as Starbuck)
I LOVED Doubt. It's a great script, but the Broadway production was just amazing. I saw what Doug Hughes did with it and I thought to myself "I will NEVER be as brilliant a director as this man" It was a humbling experience.
There are also a lot of plays that haven't been on Broadway in some time, like a bunch of Albee, Williams, Chekhov, Ibsen that I love.
I also love anything by Terrence McNally and I hope so see his new show (with ANgela Lansbury), and Christopher Durang.
