Re: Favorite Dress Pant
I always loved the Christie Fit by Victoria's Secret. I like that you can get them in like 4 different lengths (Since I'm tall, my pants always look like floods with a heel!) I would make sure though that you go for the Seasonless Stretch material- it's a poly blend... I once made the mistake of getting the all or mostly all cotton ones and they faded and shrunk and wrinkled like a rag after one wash... VS took them right back though and was great about it....

Re: Favorite Dress Pant
I love the Christie Fit flares from VS too!! I have long legs and their 34 inseam works great.
I also have lots of great dressy pants from New york and company. Cant go wrong with their coupons/sales and they come in petite/average/tall sizes too.

Lately pants from Ann Taylor and the Gap. They have a curvey style that fits me well.

Express Editor Pants
are these good for girls with a small waist (25 inches) and curvy behind and muscular legs? I have such a problem with pants because the size 25's usually cannot get them over my thighs and bottom..

Re: Favorite Dress Pant
I used to love Express' Editor Pant, but recently (maybe a year ago) I feel like they changed the fit ever so slightly and now they do not fit the same.
Therefore, I too am on a mission to find new dress pants. I have had luck at Banana Republic, but I am not sure out the make of the pant.

Re: Favorite Dress Pant
I think it depends on the fit model they use for each store. My friend swears by Ann Taylor Loft pants and they do not look good on me.
I love Express Editor pants but only if they are made with a particular fabric. I like when the fabric is on the thicker side, I feel like it covers a multitude of sins. Some of them come in a thin fabric and I feel jiggly in them.

Re: Favorite Dress Pant
The Legacy pant from White House/Black Market -- great fit!
They also have another style called Contour -- depending on the body type.
They last forever and look like a million bucks.
I love, in addition, any pant by Tahari.

nope, sorry.
that is the reason my PP pants didn't fit! my waist wasn't that much bigger but my thighs and behind got big.
so i guess i should have posted that i loveD those pants but now i'll have to find new ones

I did some research last year and discovered that Express and Victoria's Secret are owned by the same company. I always felt like the Editor pants and the Chritie Fit were exactly the same pant. BINGO. They are. Exact. They even have the same fabric options-the fabric contents are identical. So I do agree about the fabric making a difference in these pants...with VS I had to send a pair back because they laundered SO badly... I bought the other fabric and they are awesome.

Re: Favorite Dress Pant
Thanks everyone!!
I was going to look into the Editor and the Christie, but seeing the post above that they are the same, seems like I can save some time and just go look at one!!
Thanks again!
