Favorite *EASY* to make cake
At work, everyone is assigned someone else to bake a cake for. I was suppose to bake one in June, but my coworker's FIL died so I offered to take her spot and bake one for Wednesday.
Last year, I made the kit kat cake. This year I am looking for another idea that is creative, but won't take me a ton of time as my DS' birthday is Tuesday so I will be somewhat busy.

Not really a cake. Just layers of whipped cream, graham crackers and strawberries

Are you looking for flavors? Or more design?
This cake looks difficult, but it's the easiest if you're even remotely comfortable with piping.
ETA: Sprinkle cakes are fun, too. Even better with funfetti cake inside.

Favorite *EASY* to make cake
I can bring any type of cake I want.
Once someone did a homemade ice cream cake. Some people do store bought cakes. One person did an oreo dump cake that was a real hit! Last year, everyone liked the kit kat cake. I could even just do a regular cake made from box mix.
I'm pretty much just trying to make it look like I put forth a little bit of effort.

Gotcha. That's what I thought. You can decorate with fruit, or if you have a bundt pan, there's lots of easy bundt cake recipes, even with boxed cake mixes. And they're always impressive. Especially when you do a glaze on top, which is SO easy.

Favorite *EASY* to make cake
I would do a marble cake but just buy the box mix. I did that for a coworker one year and for some reason it was the talk of the school with random people sneaking in trying to get a piece. Everyone thought it was homemade lol. If you have a bundt pan I find that easiest to just throw frosting on and it always looks nice.

my all-time favorite cake is BEST-EVER CARROT CAKE
two new cakes that i've made and have been hits:
KENTUCKY BOURBON BUTTER CAKE
CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER OOEY GOOEY BUTTER CAKE
the kentucky bourbon butter cake... i would do half, if not no, bourbon in the glaze for a work cake because the alcohol does not cook off.
the chocolate peanut butter cake is VERY rich and a small piece will do.
again, my all-time favorite cake is the carrot cake. it's amazing.

I made the chocolate cake from the recipe on the back of the Hershey cocoa box. Halved the recipe because I only wanted one cake.
Spread Nutella on top of it instead of icing, topped with strawberries.
Quick and easy.

I box white cake mix, the egg whites, oil and water it calls for
1 small box pistacchio pudding
12 drops green food coloring
1tbsp. Almond extract
I bake it in a bunt pan and drizzle icing on it.... everyone freaks out

if it's a WHITE cake mix, then you don't use the yolks... it will change the color of the cake
