Favorite Halloween activity?
What's your favorite Halloween "thing"? Doesn't have to be an activity. Could be decorating the house, seeing other houses set up, carving pumpkins, Trick-or-Treating, parties, etc.
I like carving pumpkins, and seeing other carved pumpkins.

For me, I always enjoy picking the pumpkins. We paint and color them -- markers, paints, etc. That's fun too.
And eating butterfingers the night of.

Dressing the kids and going trick or treating. Also this year we got "booed" for the first time so we have it on our schedule to do some booing of our own this week which should be fun!

Handing out candy to the trick or treaters while watching a scary movie in between.
Now that I have a DD, seeing her in her costume parade at school and then going trick or treating with her afterwards.
ETA- I am so in the minority but I am not a fan of pumpkin picking
I hate the crowds, the tourism of it all and you spend a fortune for a pumpkin that will rot in a few weeks.
I'd rather buy my pumpkins at the store, but I don't even bother with that because they really serve no purposes before i have to throw them out.
LOL
DD gets a small one to paint though.
Before we had her, we were a pumpkin free home.

Going trick or treating with my niece and nephews. The neighborhood near us goes all out every year and the homeowners get really into it. They dress up and sit outside the house to hand out candy...that's how many kids come around. It's like one long line down the blocks! LOL. Its fun though!
Besides that...my fav. thing is the Halloween episodes of Roseanne that come on TV!

Favorite Halloween activity?
Carving pumpkins and my mom makes a really nice dinner for all of us inculding pumpkin soup and sweet potato casserole. Its amazing!

But..... pumpkin painting is becoming a thing for me.
Here's my first attempt at a dia de los muertos pumpkin. I'm fairly proud how it came out!
ETA: we don't carve.. too messy and they rot and yuck and all that. We paint!

I love everything about this time of year.
DH and I are huge horror movie fans so we watch a bunch of them all month long. We always went pumpkin picking even before having kids so we continue that tradition now with the kids along with apple picking. We take the kids trick-or-treating and our DD LOVES to give out candy to the kids who come to the house. My DD and I also love baking fall treats..........everything apple and any other warm, cozy fall food.

cant say it a Halloween thing but I love fall actives and always loved pumpkin picking. I missed out this year I think because I still have no pumpkin

Carving out pumpkins is my favorite and trick or treating with my kids. Tonight I just carved out sponge bob, jack from nightmare before Christmas and I'm doing a hello kitty tomorrow. We save the pumpkin seeds to roast and eat.
