Favorite hotel in Paris!
Preferably on the left bank. We're doing a girl's trip to Paris for my niece's 18th Birthday and I'm in charge of the details. I've been to Paris before, but don't want to stay in the same area. I'm going cross-eyed from ALL the hotels reviewed on tripadvisor. Let me know if you've got a moderately priced favorite! Thanks.

Re: Favorite hotel in Paris!
DH and I recently went to Paris this January and stayed at Hotel Littre. http://www.hotellittreparis.com/
It is located on the left bank, between St. Germain des Pres and very near the Montparnasse Tower. It is a pretty neat area and only a block or so away from the Metro, which to me was very important. It is about 30 minute walk to the eiffel tower. DH and I walked everywhere from there though and loved venturing out.
The hotel is clean and nice. The bathroom was super clean (a must for me). The only thing that could have been better for me was the bed. It was very clean but not the most comfortable bed. But, I never like any hotel beds that I have been to so far, so i definitely set a VERY high standard.
The room included a breakfast buffet everymorning. There wasn't a restaurant in the hotel but there was bar, which we didnt go to. There is this great little brasserie right across the street from the hotel called Le Petit Littre which had the best food. Also, there was this great bakery on the block that we used to get snacks or breakfast (if we woke up late) - i so miss the pain au chocolat and the quiche lorraine from there.
I don't remember the price of the room - actually I dont know if i ever knew. The trip was a surprise birthday gift from my husband. I'll ask him tonight and let you know. I am sure it wasnt expensive though because the only time we have stayed at expensive hotels is on our honeymoon and anytime I pick the hotel. *lol*
If you have any questions, just let me know. We loved it there. I so wish i was in Paris again!!! *lol*
