Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge is great... its served "family style" (so you guys will pick a few things from the menu for your table). and they do fun stuff- like wooden horse races for kids around the restaurant. Ive also heard 50s Prime Time Cafe is fun, too... the servers "harass" you a little bit (my friend said her husband didn't eat his green beans, and the waiter was doing the "airplane" thing to him, so he would eat a bite LOL"

Re: Favorite NON buffet disney meals
Our must-do on every trip is California Grill. This is a signature restaurant, however, so if you are on the dining plan, it uses 2 sit-down meal credits.
The best meal I've ever eaten in Disney (and in the top 5 of anywhere else): Victoria & Alberts - but this is adult only and super $$$
Some other favorites in no particular order:
Raglan Road (Downtown Disney) Be Our Guest (MK) Chefs de France (Epcot) Citrico's (Grand Floridian - this is also a signature restaurant - so 2 credits) Portobello's (Downtown Disney) Flying Fish (Boardwalk - signature restaurant)

The first time I brought my kids there they were 2.5 and 4. The staff was awesome and very accommodating. We've been back many times since then and it's always a great experience.
