I agree with all of these, George Martin is our fave!
We also really like Dario's and Blue Moon.

Chadwick's--they just relaunched with a new Chef a few months ago. Dh and I went last Saturday with another couple and it was delicious.

George Martin has a new burger bar on Long Beach Rd north of Sunrise that is really good - we have only eaten at the sidewalk cafe in the summer so can't speak to the interior atmosphere, but the burgers were great!
We went to Dario's recently and honestly, i was so disappointed. I got the Veal chop that everyone raved about and i wasn't impressed at all. The service was pretty mediocre, and we were all but abandoned by the end of the meal. I was going to order another drink and some dessert, but after waiting 15 minutes for our waiter and finally flagging down another, i decided it wasn't worth it.
There's a great Japanese restaurant on N. Village between Lincoln and Merrick that i can never remember the name of - very good sushi!
