Favors for Christening/Baptism
Did you or are you doing favors? Is this common? My DS's Christening is 3 weeks away and I didn't even think about this yet.
HELP?!!

Re: Favors for Christening/Baptism
I just made chocolate cross lollipops with a white or blue candy flower in the middle of the cross. They came out pretty, they were easy to do too. I did white and milk chocolate.

Re: Favors for Christening/Baptism
My DS's Christening is Saturday and I'm doing the same favor that I did for DD's. A picture of him in his Christening outfit. Wallet size. You still have time to do this if you want to. Make sure that you go to a studio that gives you the pictures the day you take them. I bought frames from Wrap With Us in Syosset for $0.89 each.wrap with us

Re: Favors for Christening/Baptism
Thanks Girls!! Like my Husband said;
"Our favor is the free food and booze"
I was thinking maybe choc covered Oreo's?
The picture in the frame is a cute idea and my friend is a Pro photographer that prob wouldn't mind snapping his photo.
Hmmm...
If I do Choc Covered Oreo's, what can I put them in so they don't melt everywhere??
Should I keep them in the fridge until the party is over??

Re: Favors for Christening/Baptism
My DDs Christening is in a month and i think we're either doing her picture on a cookie, choc. covered pretzels.. or cupcakes. A picture or something edible is always nice..

Re: Favors for Christening/Baptism
I made choc covered pretzel rods and packaged them pretty - that was my 'favor' -
but I'm ALL about edible favors.

Re: Favors for Christening/Baptism
I got a big bag of Hershey Nuggets candies and wrapped them in personalized wrappers I ordered on Ebay. I put them little organza bags from Dollar Tree.

How do you keep them from melting or getting ruined. What do you put them in?
